4. Read the adverts (A-D) for things to do on a day trip to a village called Beaulieu. Match them with the people in Exercise 3 (1-3). There is one extra advert.

A. Are you coming to the Beaulieu area and looking for something interesting to do? You have to come to the Beaulieu Motor Museum. We have cars, bikes and motorbikes from 100 years ago. We also have the Donald Campbell's famous Bluebird boat. It broke the world speed record! Why not look round the Palace House as well? It's a wonderful old building with lovely gardens where you can have a picnic too.

B. Beaulieu Village is an almost perfect English village and very beautiful. There are lots of small shops where you can buy local art and jewelry, and of course, there is also the famous Beaulieu Chocolate Shop. The smell in there is amazing! There's a tea shop for traditional cakes and a small garden centre with lots of flowers to look at or buy.

C. Do you sometimes want life to be slower? Come on a boat trip along the Beaulieu river! Sit down and watch the English countryside go past. Feel the cool wind on your face. Then when the boat turns to come back, we stop at the lovely village Buckler's Hard for a coffee and a snack. You can go for a long walk around the Hard or just sit and enjoy the view in the café.

D. If you're a fan of flowers and beautiful gardens, then you need to spend some time at Exbury Gardens. It's near Beaulieu and it's very popular with tourists. There's a small train that takes visitors round the gardens. The children love it! We also have a café and restaurant, and lots of activities for younger children. Come and see us!
