Explaining how to prepare a dish

I can explain how to make a traditional dish for a Vietnamese festival.

1. CLASS VOTE Make a list of six common traditional foods from your country. Which food is the most popular? Vote on them.

How to make Bánh Xèo

1. (First / Second), combine the rice flour, white sugar, salt, and turmeric in a large bowl.

2. (Next / Finally), add the coconut milk and water. Stir until it is smooth.

3. (Then / Second), cook the shrimp and pork in a skillet. Season it with salt and pepper.

4. (After that / First), add a bit more oil to the pan and place over high heat. Once the pan is very hot, pour in half of the batter and move the pan so it covers the bottom. Scatter a layer of green onions, then shrimp and pork on one half of the crepe. Add some bean sprouts.

5. (Finally / Next), when the crepe is dry, fold it in half and put it on a plate.
