A letter describing a visit

Dear Susan,

1___ At the weekend, Dave and I went to the capital city Manila. It was incredible!

Manila is a modern city with tall buildings, bright lights and beautiful palm trees. 2___ We walked around the charming streets of the neighbourhood of Binodo, which is in one of the oldest Chinatowns in the world. We looked around in the traditional shops and saw some really interesting things.

The next morning, we went on a walking tour of Intramuros. 3___ In the afternoon, we visited the National Museum Complex, where we saw some amazing cultural treasures. Then we ate out in the evening and tried some delicious local dishes.
