I live in Dubai. I have good IT skills, so my parents hoped I would become a cyber security manager or video game designer, but I didn't want to work with computers. I love nature, so I always wanted to be a farmer. However, I thought this was just a dream because the weather in Dubai is very hot and there are lots of deserts here. But in 2021, Foodtech Valley opened, and that changed my life. It's a place where people use technology to grow food. When I first heard about it, I was studying at the university, but I finished my course this year and got a job at Foodtech Valley for the summer. I worked on vertical farms, which are very important for the future. It's exciting, and there's a lot to learn. The job is easy to understand, but it's not easy to do. Problem-solving skills are important because I have to solve lots of problems in my work. I don't really use any IT skills now, but I need to be flexible because sometimes I work long hours. I don't mind, though, because I'm doing my dream job.

There is not much oil, gas and coal left, and energy costs are increasing. Burning these types of energy releases harmful chemicals that cause global warming. Therefore, we have to make changes before it is too late, and building eco-houses is an effective solution.

Eco-houses are becoming popular all over the world. They use the sun’s energy to make electricity, even on cloudy or rainy days.
