Technology usage in Youth City overtime

The table above shows the data for the population in Youth City owning technology devices in 2005, 2010 and 2015. In about 120-150 words, summarise the information in the table.

The table presents the percentage of population owning technology devices in Youth City in three years 2005, 2010 and 2015. In general, there was an increase in the number of people owning 3 types of electronic devices throughout 10 years. Among the three devices, the smartphone was the most popularly used, and the smart watch was the latest and the least to be owned and used. As seen from the figure in 2010, fifty percent of the population in the city owned a smartphone, while a smart watch was first introduced and used by only 2 percent. In 2005, just 2 percent of the population of the city owned a smartphone, but in 2015, the number of users became nearly 40 times of that (78%). The owning of a tablet was rapidly increasing, rising from 4 percent to 46 percent within 5 years from 2010 to 2015. In contrast, the possession of a smart watch did not make a steady rise, rising only 3 percent within 5 years.
