Anna: Hi, Steve. How was your summer?

Steve: Great, thanks, Anna. I went to Italy with my parents. My grandparents were Italian. It was interesting to visit my home country, but my brother couldn’t come. He had a summer job as a tour guide.

Anna: That's cool. Did you book a package holiday?

Steve: No, we didn't. We wanted to travel around. A travel agent helped me book accommodation, but I booked a flight and train ticket online.

Anna: Where was the best place you stayed?

Steve: Well, it's difficult to choose. My mom liked Roman Milan because the hotels there had lots of facilities. My dad preferred Verona because he loved his beautiful countryside, but Florence was my favorite place. We saw lots of famous art there.

Anna: It sounds great. We didn't go anywhere, but my sister and I went camping in the forest. We also went sightseeing and to the countryside. The scenery was so beautiful.

Steve: What a pity you didn’t have a holiday!

Anna: Oh, I don’t mind. We're going to go skiing in Canada this winter. I can't wait.
