MY DREAM JOB

Hello, readers! Today, the careers advisor at my school talked to my class about different jobs, and I was really interested in the job of a 3D printing technician. The careers advisor said that 3D printing technicians used 3D printers to make things. The reason I like this job is that I love technology. However, it’s not an easy job. 3D printing technicians need to be hard-working, patient and careful because they make objects that require high accuracy, like teeth, hearing aids and car parts. Moreover, they often have to work quickly and effectively, so they need to have problem-solving skills, time management skills and creativity. I am willing to do what it takes, though.

Hi, Polly! Andrew here. Your future job sounds interesting! My dream job is to be a video game developer. My school’s careers advisor said that the job was about designing and creating video games. I think it’s prefect for me because I love video games. It’s not just fun and games, though. Video games developers need to have strong IT skills and lots of creativity because they work with computers to create characters and stories for the games. They also need to be hard-working, flexible and punctual because game development projects often have tight deadlines.

James: I think this job is suitable for me. Thanks for your advice.
